The SNAP E&T program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Services (FNS). Florida's SNAP E&T program is designed to assist eligible SNAP E&T participants to obtain skills through education, training, or work experience that will increase self-sufficiency and lead to employment. The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), in partnership with the Local Workforce Development Boards (LWDBs), is responsible for the administration of SNAP E&T.
Who is Eligible?

Is between the ages of 18 - 52

Is not in school at least half-time

Does not work at least 20 hours a week

Does not earn at least $217.50 a week

Does not have a documented medical limitation

Does not meet other criteria, outlined by federal regulations, that prevents them from working
